Find your
favourite bay.
A morning on the sand, a swim, a picnic that stretches into the afternoon. Take your time exploring Maggie’s bays and beaches, from the village foreshores to the smaller coves.
Nelly Bay is your starting point. Leave room for a day in Arcadia, Picnic Bay or Horseshoe Bay, too.

02 / Through the trees
Take the
long way.
Walk among granite boulders and eucalyptus, with the sea appearing between the trees. The Forts Walk is an island favourite for its lookouts and historic remains.
Go slowly, look up for koalas, and give wildlife space. Carry water and check the conditions before setting out.

03 / Out on the water
A different
point of view.
Spend an afternoon sailing, try a paddle, or explore a snorkelling spot with local advice. There is another side to the island when you see it from the water.
Then come home to the pool, put something on for dinner and watch the light change across the bay.
